Andy Blackwood, Ersatz B-flat Tuba

Andy Blackwood serves as a clearing house for verbal abuse within the band. He dishes it out, and boy, does he take it.

Andy holds a bachelor's degree in music from Boston University where he studied with Sam Pilafian and a master's degree from Northwestern University where he studied with Rex Martin. As an "adult," he obtained a second bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota. He is currently between opportunities.

In his free time, Andy enjoys going to concerts and attended 73 during 2007. No, really. He also collects beer- and sports-related memorabilia, although he isn't really sure why anymore. He is also an avid poker player, if not a particularly successful one. He is a regular at Canterbury Card Club and a moderator on twoplustwo.com.
